Donna Lawhon - Logistics

Donna Lawhon has been a registered nurse for 15 years, working 9 of those years in the OR and 6 with the Southern Joint Replacement Institute at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. She has spent countless hours at the warehouse of Project Cure sorting and assembling the inventory which has become the base structure at the Regional Hospital for Walk Strong in Veracruz, Mexico. She became involved with Walk Strong since her children were now grown and she found herself with a lot of extra time on her hands. She saw an opportunity to help make a difference in the lives of people who might not otherwise have a chance to improve the quality of their lives. She had never flown on an airplane before but off she went with the full support of her family and a commitment to Walk Strong for the next 10 years!
