Dr. Craig Morrison
Originally from Texas, Dr. Morrison came to Nashville in 1996 for his orthopaedic residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He completed his residency training in 2001 and joined Southern Joint Replacement Institute in Nashville after completing a one year Otto Aufranc Fellowship in Adult Reconstructive Surgery at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, MA.
Dr. Morrison has authored several articles and book chapters in leading joint replacement publications. He lectures nationally and internationally. His expertise is in primary and revision replacement surgery of the hip, knee, and shoulder.
He is the current Chief of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Centennial Hospital in Nashville. As a founding board member of the non-profit Walk Strong, he has a special interest in medical mission work and has performed joint replacements in Mexico, Peru, Ecuador, and India.
